Lean & Six Sigma Coaching | Executive / Business | Online & Face to Face Coaching

One to one coaching will greatly enhance your learning; ensure quicker certification and project success.

Our vast experience proves that coaching during and post training, will have a massive benefit on your learning. If you are certifying in Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, or are a senior manager wishing to be given assistance with learning and deployment, then having a dedicated Master Black Belt coach will greatly assist you.

We can provide coaching in 3 ways:

All of our coaching sessions are run by your own dedicated Master Black Belt, and we follow a standard process to ensure that you get the most from your session. Using the GROW approach, we would set objectives and goals for each session. To ensure the sessions are effective, you would email your objectives, storyboards and questions to your coach in advance. The coach will then work close with you, to answer questions, provide advice and review your progress to certification.

We recommend 3 hours of coaching to get you to certification. If you want telephone coaching you can purchase online for other coaching please contact us to discuss.

GillianRhodes - Coaching in Lean & Six Sigma

Gillian Rhodes was trained and accredited as a Six Sigma Black Belt by Motorola University. She has a wealth of experience of teaching, coaching and consulting in Six Sigma, Lean and Continuous Improvement. She has worked with international clients in sectors including Insurance, Pensions, Banking, Automotive, Power Generation, Transportation, Electronics, Biotech and Food Manufacturing. She brings to her clients over 20 years of practical experience and real-life examples of the use of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement tools and techniques.

One of Gillian's most recent assignments was as a programme leader for an in-company Lean Sigma deployment for a major high-street bank. Her responsibilities included the development of customised training material, delivery of Lean Sigma training including Lean Expert, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt and Executive-level training, She also facilitated a number of project selection workshops, and provided follow-up project coaching and support.

Other assignments include Lead Trainer for a power generation/engineering company delivering Black Belt and Green Belt training to multi-disciplined international classes totalling around 200 participants, and fulfilling a Master Black Belt role with a leading Insurance Company.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Gillian gained 13 years' experience in the application of Lean and Six Sigma techniques, while working as a Process Engineer and Black Belt in both high and low volume manufacturing environments. She used a wide range of Lean and Six Sigma techniques to continuously improve the processes for which she was responsible - techniques such as Process Mapping, Problem Solving, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Measurement Systems Analysis, Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments.

Joe Cash - Coaching in Lean & Six Sigma

Joe Cash is an international Master Black Belt having consulted in 6 countries, trained and certified over 1500 people in Lean Six Sigma, and run projects in almost every area of business and in numerous industry sectors.

Joe started his career as an apprentice engineer making road tankers. He became proficient in all aspects of fabrication. He then moved to Thorn Colour Tubes and joined the quality department. He then went to B.O.C. in a production supervisory role, manufacturing gas equipment. From there he went to AlliedSignal/Honeywell and held several positions, both in production and quality. While there, he graduated with a BSc from the Open University in Mathematics, majoring in Statistics, he then graduated with an MSc in Management Development at Lancaster University. He also trained as a Master Black Belt and developed and deployed Lean Six Sigma and DFSS in the early stages of the deployment for Allied Signal / Honeywell helping to shape the training which is still used today. Joe also served on the Industrial Advisory Board at UCL. Fellow of the Royal statistical society delivery lectures to the fellowship.

He then took on the role of European Quality Manager and Master Black Belt at an electronics company, introducing Lean Six Sigma and achieving accreditation to ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14000.

In 2003 Joe started consultancy / training and has worked with large and small businesses including - BT, BAA, Nissan, Vauxhall, Atmel, Capita, BBI, Renault, Norwich Union, Sellafield etc. The consultancy assignments have ranged from training, coaching and certification of Green Belts, Black Belts and Master Black Belts, design of Lean Six Sigma deployments, process reengineering etc.

John Fraser

John is a highly experienced Continuous Improvement Lean 6 Sigma Trainer with more than 400 delegates trained to date to Yellow, Green and Black Belt levels. He is expert in the use and interpretation of Minitab and has a deep understanding of Continuous Improvement deployment in both production and transactional industries. He continues to run projects including some personal interest assignments. He has applied those insights to coach and help trained delegates deliver on objectives quickly.

In addition, John has been called upon as a thought leader by the UK government and the Royal Statistical Society to develop an appreciation and value of statistics within the broader community. This has mostly been through sports related projects which he continues to develop. He has also published a number of academic papers with his wife who is a senior lecturer in Manchester.

John has delivered training to industries as diverse as Aerospace, Food Flavourings, Public Sector and Investment Banking. He has also trained in locations such as Japan, South Africa and Canada as well as Western Europe. His philosophy is very much on learning by doing with course delegates given plenty of hands-on experience throughout each course.

Georgina Turton - Coaching in Lean & Six Sigma

Georgina Turton is a versatile change management practitioner and Master Black Belt who enjoys collaborating with organisations to develop ongoing strategies to make practical change. Her approach is to adapt to the client's need from facilitation of process mapping to coaching and training in the belief that everyone from senior to junior level can apply systematic change to any process.

She works with organisations to facilitate change by applying Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, CAP, change management skills and other continuous improvement methodologies. Activities involve onsite coaching, continuous improvement roll out and support, facilitation of workshops, training programmes in various topics including Six Sigma, awareness sessions, storyboard compilation, programme management, process management implementation, business risk management, operational effectiveness, problem identification and verification and strategic planning.

Georgina was born and raised in Australasia and then went on to focus on business in Southeast & East Asia, Europe and Northern America. She studied in Vietnam in the early '90s before coming to the UK to align an organisation's Operations with Marketing opportunities in the northern hemisphere.

She worked as a Global Manager for Strategic Alliances before becoming a Master Black Belt at GE Capital in the UK. There she focused on Operations (both back office and call centres) and Sales. She moved into a UK wide managerial role for the print supply chain where she worked with suppliers to ensure a 10% cost savings to GE year on year.

In 2001, Georgina was approached by some ex-GE colleagues to join their consultancy business and has not looked back. She has worked with multinationals applying Six Sigma, Lean and other continuous improvement methodologies to achieve demonstrable savings and customer service increases. Her ability to switch between delivering training and analytical skills has kept her applying a realistic approach to Six Sigma and Lean, and established her as a useful support resource.

As a continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma specialist Georgina divides her time between supporting and delivering training, onsite coaching, strategic development, Six Sigma deployment, reviewing processes, implementing project selection processes and facilitating workshops. Her international upbringing lends itself to delivering and supporting Six Sigma across many continents.

Face to Face Coaching for Individuals

Our face to face Lean & Six Sigma coaching is typically held at your location/premises.

Face to Face Coaching for Groups and Companies

This choice of coaching is aimed at companies, who wish to enrol several employees onto a coaching program. A coaching 'surgery' would be set up at your premises, where employees would pick a 2 hour slot with a Master Black Belt.

Our master Black Belt will come to your business and set up a coaching surgery. In this format, we would allow your staff, who many or may not have been trained by us, to book a coaching session. There would be 4 slots in a day. Each person can pick the topic to be covered, to help them with their project or training. The sessions are run in a normal coaching manner with agreed goals.

Telephone Coaching

Our most popular coaching choice with our online training courses. This allows you to receive one-to-one coaching via telephone or webcam with a Master Black Belt. Your project/documents can be reviewed live, and questions answered.
