John Wellwood has a deep passion for behavioural change. Since his first role as an internal consultant with Kodak he has studies and applied his deep understanding of behavioural issues. As an international Master Black Belt who has consulted in over 14 countries and on 4 continents John has been lucky enough to learn from some of the world's leading thinkers in this field. His assignments have always included understanding behaviours and influencing them to facilitate change in the organisations he has worked for and with.
John graduated from Napier University in Edinburgh as an engineer. His career started as a European Consultant with Kodak in 1990 where he worked at all levels from corporate board level down. John then moved to KPMG where as a UK Consultant he ran accounts for companies such as Castrol and CCL industries consulting as a Project Manager and running assignments on Six Sigma and management development. He then took on the role of running an automotive bus and coach manufacturing company as the Operations Director and transformed the company using modern manufacturing methods.
John then moved on to Invensys, a £12b conglomerate where he was trained as a Master Black Belt and headed up the global deployment of Lean Six Sigma across three of the four business units. With over 20 Black Belts working for his team they deployed countless training courses and projects across three continents.
In 2000 John started his own consultancy / training company and has worked with companies including – BT, BAA, Caterpillar, Volvo, Jaguar, Nissan, Renault, Norwich Union, Trelleborg, Alstom, Valeo etc in countries including the US, Australia, Brazil, the Caribbean and all over Europe.
In every assignment John has under taken the importance of understanding others and their position has been vital. He has all levels in an organisation through applying his learning over a career which has spanned over 20 years. John's skills lie very much in the practical application of behavioural skills. Whether it has been changing the behaviour of engineers, sales or finance personnel or changing the approach of shop floor workers John has always managed to take teams at every level of an organisation with him while he has successfully implemented change.
As a trainer in behavioural change John demonstrates his love of the subject and passes on in easy to understand logic how to grow your understanding of the subject. He makes it simple to turn complex theory into practical learning you can apply.
Jennifer Fitzgerald
Jennifer is an experienced business trainer, executive coach and management consultant who designs and delivers programmes to build organisational capacity to sustain change. These include programmes in sales, customer care, leadership and management development and other "soft skills". She works with blue-chip clients across many industries and has broad international experience. She has lived and worked in several European countries and speaks French and German.
Jennifer graduated in languages (French and German) from Nottingham University, has a Diploma in Interpreting and Translating from Bradford University, and studied for a MBA at Cranfield University. After working for a number of years as a fundraiser for a third-world development agency, she joined Barclaycard where she held various marketing management roles in the UK and Germany. In 1995, she moved to Brussels to become Head of Pay Later, responsible for a team managing all MasterCard-branded card products in Europe with a turnover of over €170m . She returned to the UK in 2001 to work as a management consultant with SchlumbergerSema/Atos Origin.
Jennifer has since retrained as a facilitator and executive coach and is an accredited trainer and coach trainer with the International NLP Trainers Association. She has also undertaken preliminary training in psychotherapy. For the past seven years she has been working with many industry-leading companies in the UK and overseas to help them get the most out of their people and to help their people get the most out of themselves. Projects have included:
• Developing and delivering leadership and coaching skills programmes
• Delivering programmes to promote awareness of change and to achieve behavioural change within change programmes
• Designing and delivering courses leading to accreditation in NLP (neurolinguistic programming), both open courses and in-house at major companies
• Delivering training in a wide range of "soft skills" that are essential to success in business (communications, customer care, influencing, motivation, presentation skills, selling, training trainers) to a wide range of blue-chip clients
• Delivering workshops for MBA students at a leading business school
• Delivering coaching to individuals working in a wide range of industry sectors.
Jennifer is trained in accelerated learning and knows how to create learning events that are fast-paced, informative and fun! She is qualified to use a number of personal and organisational profiling tools including Thomas International Personal Profile Analysis (DISC), and Richard Barrett's Values Centre's Cultural Transformation Tools. She is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
