Overview / who should attend and why?
Many individuals have run Lean Sigma or Six Sigma projects. They have however not been able to be formally certified as Lean Sigma or Six Sigma Black Belt. 100% Effective can come to the rescue. This is not an easy option as to certify you must pass a very stringent set of tests. This really is for people who believe they have the ability to qualify but through bad luck or timing they have never managed to certify. In order to certify you must pass an exam, convince an expert in a one to one 2-hour interview that you know your stuff and you must demonstrate at least 2 projects where you have used the tools and methodology of Lean Sigma or Six Sigma. In order to ensure success we start the process with some self-assessment this tells you where you might have to improve for the certification process and finishes with certification. |

Certification Process
Once you have signed up for our certification program you will follow the following steps:-
- You will be sent a self assessment form to complete – this will tell you the areas you need to work on to become accredited or if you are ready for certification.
- Once you are ready you will then be given a phone call to discuss the self assessment and any development needs you may have. We will suggest reading or areas to work on or you may ask us for some coaching. We will also explain the types of project you will need and how we would like to see them presented.
- We will send you our storyboard template for your project presentation. It is not essential that you use this format but many people find it help full.
- We will then agree the time for your certification interview. This could be face to face or via the phone, MSN etc
- At least one week prior to the agreed certification date we would like you to send us copies of your presentations. We will then review them and may send back some questions or ask you to add some details.
- The interview will then take place in your agreed format face to face or telephone. You will present your storyboards and will then be quizzed on your Lean Six Sigma or Six Sigma knowledge.
- If your knowledge and projects are up to scratch then you will be certified as a Black Belt and sent the appropriate documentation.
- If however you are found to have some gaps in your knowledge then you will be asked to do some more work in the form of case study questions. These will be reviewed if you succeed then you will be given your certification. If unfortunately you have a large number of areas where you don’t meet the standard then we will suggest more detailed work.
Costs / Duration and Location
- The cost of certification is £800 plus vat
- If you find gaps in your knowledge phone coaching is available at £100 per hour
- Location will be determined by requests
