Lean Sigma / Six Sigma Certification Assessment
Overview / who should attend and why?
Many individuals have run Lean
Sigma or Six Sigma projects. They have however, not been able to be formally certified
as Lean Sigma or Six
Sigma Black or Master
Black Belts. 100% Effective Training can come to the rescue.
This is not an easy option, as to certify, you must pass a very stringent
set of tests. This really is for people who believe they have
the ability to qualify but through bad luck or timing they have never
managed to certify. In order to certify you must pass an exam,
convince an expert in a one to one 2-hour interview that you know your
stuff and you must demonstrate at least 2 projects where you have used
the tools and methodology of Lean
Sigma or Six Sigma.
In order to ensure success, we start the process with some self-assessment;
this tells you where you might have to improve for the certification
process. You will then spend ½ day being assessed.
If you pass all the criteria then you will become a certified Black
Belt or Master
Black Belt. If you fail then you will be given detailed areas
to work on. You can then re-sit at a later date at a reduced cost.
Certification Process
- You will be sent a self assessment
to complete; this will tell you the areas you need to work on to become
accredited
- You will then be given a phone
call, 1 week prior to assessment to ensure you are aware of what is
required
- You will then be sent an exam which you must complete and return within a set period of time.
- Certification ½ day – the day will start with your exam being examined and possibly some further questioning on weaker areas. You will then undergo a 2-hour interview to explain your projects and to test your knowledge.
- If you pass then you will be
given a certificate in Lean Sigma or Six Sigma
- If you fail then you will be given a detailed report of why and what you will have to do for certification
- You can then reapply for certification

Belt or Master
