- Remodelled and implemented efficiencies at Alstom, optimising parts picking productivity and accuracy, improving transport utilisation to handle a growing product range. Project managed the implementation of a flexible warehouse complete with portable management systems interfaced to an SAP R3 core system.
- Optimized the transportation efficiency of Colt Cars (Mitsubishi) UK parts distribution operation.
- Review of major automotive importer to examine their European warehouse and transport operations. Identified operational inefficiencies and specified process re-alignments.
- Supply chain review for Cat Logistics Industrial Sector. Identification of process / physical bottlenecks and implementation of the solutions strategy.
- Strategic study for the implementation of e-commerce to understand the implications of internet portals
- Providing logistics support for Government Multi-Modal studies within the East Midlands
- Helped plan and project manage a new warehouse operation for Caterpillar on behalf of automotive manufacturer, BMW
- Designed and implemented an advertising campaign for Caterpillar Logistics in the UK and Europe later copied by others in the industry.
