Paul is highly numerate and is experienced at designing and building statistical models. He has strong analytical skills and has applied them practically to help clients interpret analyses and make informed decisions. His clear thinking and logical approach enables him to collate and interpret large amounts of information and to communicate at all levels. He has a pragmatic “hands-on” approach to analysis and focuses on solutions.
He has applied his analytical skills to become a practised process improvement (BPR) consultant. He is experienced at running process design workshops and implementing new processes. He has applied his analytical skills to design with performance measures and is experienced at implementing suites of performance indicators (KPIs). He has proven experience estimating and delivering benefits for clients. Paul supplements the BPR skills with solid change management experience and is trained in PwC Change Integration methodology.
Paul is an experienced project manager and has helped clients to identify and define problems, integrate projects and establish change programmes. He has planned projects, resourced them and identified the costs and benefits. He has established programme management disciplines on major projects. He has been trained in PwC’s project and programme management (PMM) methodology.
Paul is a highly skilled consultant with excellent client management skills developed over 14 years of business experience. He is experienced at designing and running workshops, conducting client interviews, applying analyses to support decision making and strategy development. He has excellent written and oral communications skills and has made many client presentations. He has demonstrated these skills working in both the private and public sectors. He specialises in supply chain management and has experience in customer relationship management. He has worked for major clients in retailing, distribution, retail banking and government.
Paul has a strong academic background with a MSc. (with distinction) in Applications of Statistics in Business and Government from the University of Westminster (Nov 1995) and a BSc. (Hons.) in Maths Sciences and Management from the University of Liverpool (July 91).
Paul has excellent IT skills and is experienced in managing projects using MS Project, client presentations in MS PowerPoint, building advanced models using MS Excel and Access and statistical analyses with packages such as SPSS/PC and SAS.
