Trainers: Trevor Potter
Trevor Potter is an Engineering graduate of Sheffield University and Fellow in manufacturing management from Cranfield University . His background followed a traditional design and Project route until attending Cranfield where his career emphasis shifted to manufacturing management. His training has been in Manufacturing Management, Business Improvement, Supply Chain management, Project Management Transformation, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Category Management, JIT, BPR , KPI and Best Practise development.
He has worked for companies such as Motorola, Avon Tyres, Magnetti Marelli, Invensys, GKN and has held increasing levels of responsibility up to and including UK Board level. In all these organisations he has constantly strived to develop both Business and People focussed improvement . He is an innovator of change.
The last 5 years has seen him work with some innovative and influential consultant groups through The Ferrers Partnership Limited which he founded in October 2001. He has worked with these groups in both the Public and Private sectors and in operational areas ranging from Risk Based Decision making, in the rail sector, supply chain and category management in the defence sector through to Transformation projects in the media and Broadcasting sector. He is an accomplished Project manager and innovator of sustainable solutions.
Trevor specialises in innovative and specialised solutions to Consultant Organisations and is deeply committed to delivering sustainable change and adding value to his project assignments.
